Christopher Kershaw

Chris studied at Bangor University where he obtained his MChem degree (with industrial experience). During his time at Bangor Chris spent twelve months working for Magnox ltd at Wylfa power station (as part of his degree). He also had a summer placement within Dr P. J. Holliman’s research group looking at Squaraine dyes and Hole transport materials in Dye-sensitized solar cells, leading to the publication of his first paper. Now back with Bangor, Chris is undertaking a PhD funded by Sêr Cymru National Research Network, collaborating with four partners (Bangor, Swansea, Glyndwr and G24 Power). Chris’ PhD is in the area of “Self assembled nanolayer materials” under the supervision of Dr Peter Holliman and Dr Christopher Gwenin.
