Niall Marsay

Niall Started his BSc in chemistry in 2013. he had a summer internship with Bangor university’s MPEG grope in 2015 where he helped carry out a study into harmful bacteria  in the ribbed and Conway estuary’s using qPCR. In his 3rd year project he studied The Metal content of acid mine drainage in and around Parys Mountain supervised by Dr Vera Thoss. He moved on to the MChem Course last year and will be conducting his 4th year project with us which has yet to be decided.

Gwenin - Applied Research in Chemistry and Public Health (ARCH)Dr Robert Hobbs will be attending the UK HealthTech conference delivered by Mediwales that will be held in Cardiff on 5th December. It is hoped that new valuable links and collaborations can be formed at the event for the both the ARCH research group and CALIN. The event promises to provide the latest insights and strategic trends for both the life science and health technology communities.
