Graduate students:
Rachel Ashton
Rachel came to Bangor in September 2013 with the intentions of obtaining her MChem degree in chemistry. During her third year Rachel was a member of ARCH research group where she completed a project on novel CINDRON capsules (Active Signal TM) under the supervision of Dr. C. Gwenin. In her fourth year she studied an inorganic projected based on coordination chemistry of clusters or metal organic frameworks in collaboration with Dr. L. Jones. Rachel is funded by the CALIN network and will be working on the detection of Cortisol under the joint supervision of Dr’s Gwenin and Jones.
